Plants are babies, I’ve learned the hard way that they each need individual love and attention and I’m obsessed with learning the unique care they each need!
This baby is a Peace Lily. She was my Great Grandma’s, I got her from my aunt who was taking care of a lot of Great Grandma’s plants. Distraction: my kids have a Great Great Grandma, she is 104 and I think that is the coolest thing ever! A lot of people don’t have grandparents, let alone great great ones! Anyway, so there is a lot of pressure to keep these babies alive!
The peace lily is supposed to be an easy house plant but I actually haven’t had a ton of luck with her and she hasn’t bloomed in the year that I’ve had her. I noticed she was getting droopy and the soil was too moist so I decided to repot her with fresh nutrient rich soil. When I pulled out the plant a ton of little babies well from the root ball so I’m going to plant them in their own containers to propagate and try to get each plant super strong!!
